How to fix Error 3194 Restoring to 6.1 / 5.2
If you are on the latest firmware (6.1 / 5.2) this error is due to Cydia not responding to SHSH requests.
If you are getting this restoring to a firmware below the latest (6.1 / 5.2), it probably means that you don't have SHSH for that firmware

I'm confused, what's SHSH?
- SHSH is what we call the blobs that Apple sends to iTunes on your PC/Mac to allow a device to be restored. Without this SHSH you cannot restore to the firmware.
- If you are trying to restore to the latest firmware, there isn't (usually) an issue with SHSH signing.
- You can cache the SHSH on Cydia or using TinyUmbrella. This means that you can always restore to the firmware that you saved the SHSH for.
- Without this SHSH, you cannot restore, and are forced to update to the latest firmware.
- A sign of not having SHSH is getting the error 3194, but that can also be due to Saurik's server having issues.
- It is important that you save SHSH to preserve your ability to jailbreak
